MEET THE DESIGNER

At the dawn of my 40s, I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, breaking free from the shackles of waiting for the perfect moment. My path was shaped by the vibrant cities I called home and the adventures that took me across various nations. Imbued with a diverse background in graphic design and visual arts, my style bears the imprint of these rich experiences.

Defining myself solely as a designer proves challenging, for my artistic interests traverse a vast and ever-expanding landscape. The allure of handcrafting beckoned me first, drawn to the organic mediums that resonate closely with nature itself. Stone, sisal, fabric, and wood became the conduits through which

my enduring fascination with vibrant colors and striking contrasts found expression, all the while upholding the delicate balance between form and function—a realization of a lifelong dream. I find inspiration in the tapestry of African influences that evoke a contemporary and feminine aesthetic. Weaving my passion for design with the threads of yoga, love for gardening, culinary creations, and the cherished moments shared with my children, Kanini and Kirore, I believe that art and design are not mere embellishments but rather vital ingredients that infuse life with love, sunshine, and a kaleidoscope of colors.
