This helps to remove any accumulated dirt or debris. Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaning agents on kiln-fired soapstone.

Stick to mild, non-abrasive cleaners specifically designed for stone surfaces. Although soapstone is known for its heat resistance, it can still retain heat. To avoid the risk of burns, it is recommended not to touch the stone while it is hot. Take appropriate measures to protect yourself by using heat-resistant tools when handling hot soapstone items.
